PT Laundry Attendant - Courtyard Portland Airport

Our Laundry attendants are critical to our success, and we appreciate what you do behind the scenes.

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting our housekeepers in ensuring that our guests have a clean and comfortable stay.

This position is Part time - 16-24 hours a week

General Responsibilities of Laundry Person Include:

• Sort, wash and fold linen and towels
• Monitor quality of linen returned for guest use
• Maintaining Inventory Levels of linens and other hotel supplies
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry room
• Assist Housekeepers as needed
• Maintain Laundry Equipment
• Replace Laundry chemicals as needed
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures and standards
•  Communicate effectively with other housekeeping staff and guests

Requirements

Laundry Attendant Job Requirements Include:

Must be able to push, pull, bend, lift and stand for long periods of time

Ability to lift up to 50lbs

Ability to work alone and as part of a team

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Good communication, interpersonal and customer service skills

Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
