Senior Speech Pathologist, Adult Services (permanent part-time)

Are you an experienced or aspiring Senior Speech Pathologist looking for an exciting opportunity? We’re seeking a skilled clinician to join our Adult Speech Pathology team at the Launceston General Hospital, Tasmania

We are open to a range of skills and experiences in all areas of adult services however evidence of your competence or an interest in attaining competence in Videofluoroscopic Swallow Study (VFSS), Fibreoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallow (FEES) or tracheostomy management will be highly regarded.   Your ongoing learning will be supported through a generous Professional Development (PD) budget, paid travel expenses to attend interstate PD events, active clinical supervision and peer support programs.  

In this role, you'll become a part of our leadership team. You'll mentor and support your peers, junior staff, and students from the University of Tasmania's Masters of Speech Pathology program.

Details of Appointment:

Permanent, part time, day worker position working 45.6 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as we can onboard you.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.

Salary: $110,425 - $121,907 per annum pro rata. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

• Salary range is in accordance with the Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement No. 2 of 2022

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible. 

Allowances: 

• Please note that access to salaries beyond $119,290 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme.

In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:

• Professional Development Allowance of up to $1000 per annum
