1. Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies, and takes action to resolve compliance questions or concerns and report suspected violations. 2. Maintains and participates in ongoing training programs for staff and new employees and offers guidance, assistance, and direction to Facilities and Management staff; participates in the hiring of new employees. 3. Responds appropriately to inquiries about complaints. 4. Assures minimum completion percentage of 95% monthly of the preventative maintenance program per JCAHO requirements. 5. Coordinates the activities of all maintenance mechanics; assists with staff evaluations. 6. Reports to leadership on a regular basis the performance of personnel and the success of service activities. 7. Collaborates with management staff, vendors, and other members of the hospital staff and ensures the completion of assigned project within agreed upon times estimates. 8. Prepares timely reports on PM completion and staff productivity. 9. Assures that PM’s inspections, repairs and calibrations are performed per manufacturer'’ guidelines and on time. 10. Oversees and performs the preventive/ corrective maintenance and day to day operation of the facility in accordance with all JCAHO, OSHA, SCAQMD, Department of Health, Fire Marshal and all regulatory agency requirements. 11. Communicates with the end user and Director when undue delays / conflicts occur in performing repair work. 12. Participates in reviewing, revising, and developing policies and procedures for the department. 13. Performs other duties as assigned.Apply for this role
