Aramark is seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Product Owner to drive the strategy and expansion of our cutting-edge Frictionless Store solutions within Retail and Hospitality operations across North America. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of innovation, technology, and customer experience.

Job Responsibilities

You will be responsible for shaping the product vision, defining the roadmap, engaging key stakeholders, and developing a scalable go-to-market strategy. Your ability to think boldly, challenge conventional approaches, and champion transformative ideas will be critical to your success. You’ll also play a hands-on role in executing and operationalizing new capabilities, many of which are first-of-their-kind for Aramark, becoming a subject matter expert in technologies that redefine the customer journey.
Experience with Amazon Just Walk Out, AWM, Zippin, or other Frictionless technologies is preferred. 
Job Responsibilities
•    Develop and execute a cohesive product vision and strategy for Aramark’s frictionless store solutions across North America.
•    Bridge the gap between store construction and technology by bringing creative, practical solutions to complex, interdisciplinary challenges.
•    Regularly engage with Aramark stakeholders to understand business objectives and operational needs, effectively communicating product updates, milestones, and risks to both technical and non-technical audiences.
•    Create and manage detailed product roadmaps outlining key milestones, feature releases, and timelines to support scalable frictionless store deployment and enhancement.
•    Evaluate and prioritize features using a strategic framework that considers business needs, customer feedback, technical feasibility, budget, and overall impact.
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including product, sales, infrastructure, data, design, and construction—to define comprehensive product requirements and deliver implementable solutions.
•    Define and operationalize repeatable intake, deployment, and transition processes to enable seamless handoff to the Mobilization team. 
•    Ensure comprehensive product documentation is developed and distributed to key stakeholders, including Field Operations, Deployment, Support, Marketing, Sales, and Clients.
•    Establish clear support processes and documentation for accounts utilizing the frictionless store solution.
•    Act as the primary liaison with external frictionless store technology vendors, managing relationships and ensuring adherence to contractual obligations.
•    Navigate internal governance processes (e.g., Information Security, Architecture Review Board), coordinating input from vendors and internal SMEs as needed.
•    Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive shifts to identify innovation opportunities and continuously evolve the product.
•    Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and adoption of frictionless store solutions, using data to inform ongoing product improvements.
 

Qualifications

Qualifications
•    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field.
•    Experience with Amazon Just Walk Out, AWM, Zippin, or other Frictionless technologies is preferred. 
•    Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering products within mid- to large-scale organizations, leveraging internal teams, external vendors, and third-party partners.
•    Passion for leading-edge retail technology and the ability to translate complex ideas into clear, actionable steps.
•    Strong understanding of AI and frictionless commerce systems, with the ability to comprehend and communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
•    Deep knowledge of process development, operations, procurement, testing, systems deployment, and ongoing support.
•    Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, with demonstrated ability to manage schedules, budgets, and resources effectively.
•    Familiarity with the intersection of construction and technology in store builds, including infrastructure planning (e.g., networking, cabling, power, and installation of tech elements like turnstiles).
•    Strong leadership in project execution—able to prioritize tasks, coordinate cross-functional teams, and deliver on deadlines.
•    Analytical mindset with experience using data and KPIs to guide decision-making and measure product performance.
•    Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
•    Industry experience in retail or e-commerce is strongly preferred.
•    Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
