This is a non-union positionEnbridge is hiring a Technical Training Supervisor who will oversee coordination and implementation of the Integrated Management System (IMS) Workforce Training and Competency process for our Gas Transmission & Midstream staff. The Supervisor will also be responsible for providing leadership and direction to a team responsible for GTM field operations training coordination support and to supervise a staff of training professionals tasked with designing, developing, and overseeing implementation of the Capability Management processes. Collectively, the Technical Training group supports the development and continual growth of a knowledgeable, skilled, team-oriented workforce.

Here’s what you will do:
Ensure that training courses used within Gas Transmission are available and functional.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with GTM Operations, Engineering, and other functional groups.
Provide coaching and support to ensure operational competencies mapped to roles assigned to Gas Transmission staff are developed and maintained.
Coordinate the activities of technical training advisors to ensure annual training plans are created and executed, including the scheduling of third-party training courses as appropriate.
Provide oversight for the evaluation and assessment activities conducted by Assessors/Evaluators
Execute comprehensive internal assessment, annual review, and compliance verification activities designed to validate that GT Technical Training processes are being followed, aligned with department plans, and effectively achieving their purpose.
Ensure training and qualification records for all staff are maintained; .
Support management of change initiatives by overseeing the completion of training needs assessments and ensuring that outcome-based training programs are developed and delivered to affected staff.
Establish and maintain processes to ensure training is outcome based, efficient, and effective.
Foster a work environment that values continuous improvement, champions change, and encourages collaboration and teamwork.
Actively participate in assurance activities and complete corrective actions as required.
Lead, manage, coach and mentor technical training staff; organize and complete all human resources related functions.
Encourage the development of training programs and materials that foster the culture of high performance.
Support and/or facilitate the delivery of training to staff when required.
Participate on industry advisory groups as assigned.
Who you are:
You have:
A related Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years’ experience in Pipeline Operations.
For candidates who do not possess a Bachelor’s degree, an additional 3 years of related experience is required.
3+ years of leadership and/or training development experience.
Strong coaching skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Competent user of Microsoft Office Programs, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Preferred Assets:
Leadership experience in Pipeline Operations
Training and/or certification as a coach.
Knowledge of content creation tool(s).
Competent user of LMS program(s).
Working Conditions:
Office environment.
Travel up to 25%.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:
Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
