Position Summary: Responsible for management and supervision of all Poker activities and Team Members on assigned shifts.

Target Pay: $75,000 - $95,000
Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible for live and tournament Poker operations of the casino on assigned shifts
- Coordinates duty assignments for the Poker team to ensure fairness, equity, and efficiency
- Manages staffing levels according to business needs
- Prepares and communicates all necessary reports on a daily basis
- Makes recommendations for policy or operational changes to ensure efficiency and compliance with regulations and internal controls
- Safeguards company assets located within the Poker Department
- Communicates and ensures consistent execution of company philosophy and Human Resources policy
- Effectively handles guest disputes while maintaining the integrity and security of the Poker games along with customer satisfaction
- Ensures compliance with all regulatory controls both internal and external including but not limited to state and federal labor laws and New York State Gaming Commission regulations and guidelines
- Has discretionary ability to extend complimentary services in accordance with the approved casino comp matrix
- Trains and assists in management of the team in accordance with company and departmental policies, procedures, and programs
- Performs all other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years of casino Poker experience preferred, with at least six months in a supervisory role
- Knowledge of all approved poker games and tournaments
- Knowledge of Poker procedures, regulations, and training requirements
- Possess excellent guest service, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Possess the ability to motivate team members through a teamwork approach
- Must have strong leadership skills with a clear focus on guest service and Team Member engagement as a priority
- Ability to comprehend and communicate simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations to Team Members and guests
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to execute detailed but uninvolved written and verbal instructions
- Ability to effectively handle problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licenses
Working Conditions:
- Regularly required to see, talk and hear; use of hand to finger dexterity, handle, feel, reach with hands and arms; stand and/or walk for prolonged period of time.
- Must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
- Frequently required to stoop, crouch or kneel.
- Ability to interact with others while maintaining a courteous and positive demeanor.
- Possible exposure to high noise level for extended periods of time.
