Location of position: Lisle, IL

As our Sr Government Contracts Specialist, you will leverage your extensive expertise in federal, state, and municipal procurement laws, regulations, and compliance frameworks to enhance the Company's government contracting compliance program. You’ll will provide expert legal advice and representation on all matters related to government contracting.

You will bring 6+ years of experience handling government contracts to KONE (Government experience, including as Contracting Officer preferred). You will use the knowledge gained through your Juris Doctor from accredited law school; active bar membership in good standing in any U.S. state preferred or 8+ years experience handling government contracts.

Other Hiring requirements:

• Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, federal, state, and municipal procurement laws, and government contracting compliance frameworks.

• Experience in enhancing compliance programs.

• Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
