POSITION SUMMARY: The Housekeeper/Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and well-functioning environment within different facilities. This position focuses on daily housekeeping duties and general facility upkeep to ensure the property remains in excellent condition for residents, guests, and staff. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and capable of managing a variety of cleaning and upkeep responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for performing cleaning and sanitation functions were assigned within the facility.
Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors/spills, dust mopping, cleaning tables, emptying trash receptacles, cleaning/stocking restrooms.
Mowing and lawncare maintenance.
Stocking, maintaining and transporting housekeeping supply carts daily.
Assist in maintaining the inside and outside of buildings to ensure cleanliness and safety.
Electrical, Plumbing, Heating and Cooling Service
Dusting, and polishing various surfaces.
Deep cleaning carpets, drapes, and upholstery.
Protecting equipment and ensuring there are no inadequacies.
Checking stocking levels of consumables and replacing them when necessary.
Communicates damages, deficits, and disturbances to supervisor as needed.
Handling reasonable complaints and requests with professionalism and patience.
Other duties as assigned.
REPORTS TO: Reports to the Maintenance Director and does not possess supervisory responsibilities.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to lift, push and/or pull at least 40 lbs. Must be able to reach overhead and below the knees, bend, stretch, stand, sit kneel or walk for extended periods of time, must possess the ability to work independently and/or in a team, as needed.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work will be completed indoors or outdoors based on the needs of the department. Some travel may be required.QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS:
Must possess a High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Must possess a minimum of six (6) months of work experience in housekeeping, janitorial or maintenance related field.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the Comanche Nation motor vehicle policy.
Must be willing to submit to and pass drug testing.
Must be willing to submit to and pass a background investigation
