The Facilities Electrical team supports safe, reliable, and compliant operation of high-, medium-, and low-voltage electrical distribution systems across the Boise, Idaho site. The team partners closely with Operations, EHS, Construction, and Engineering to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing support and system integrity.
The Senior High-Voltage Coordinator Lead oversees the technicians and professionals responsible for coordinating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and operating electrical infrastructure for the ID1 site. This role provides technical leadership including employee performance, enforces safe work practices, and maintains strong system reliability and procedural compliance, including oversight of electrical switching and CoHE/LOTO processes.
Responsibilities
-Team building, leading and developing coordinators and electrical technicians responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of site electrical systems.
- Oversee electrical switching procedures, switching events, and CoHE/LOTO compliance.
- Ensure safety policy adherence, JHA/JSA review, and accuracy of procedures, certifications, and training.
- Monitor electrical system health, drive reliability improvements, and lead corrective action initiatives.
- Coordinate electrical outages, support operations, and ensure clear pass-down and communication across shifts.
Minimum Qualifications
- Knowledge of high-, medium-, and low-voltage electrical systems and applicable electrical codes.
- Experience leading electrical switching operations and applying safe electrical work practices.
- Strong communication, organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing procedures, documentation, and improvement initiatives.
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License (highly preferred) and/or industrial/commercial electrical experience.
