24Position Summary
This is a 3 Day a Week (.6 FTE) position working in our Cortex One clinic. The successful applicant will be joining a unique team of dedicated clinicians who practice in an innovative academic environment. We are passionate about delivering evidence-based interventions to clients and their families. The position is responsible for performing evaluations, establishing goals, and planning and delivering OT treatment programs in collaboration with clients, care partners, and other interprofessional team members. The population is primarily adult ADHD and the setting is clinic based, but we may also see clients in their natural environment. This position may also assist with clinical program development, population needs assessments, and related performance improvement activities as assigned by Clinical Practice manager.Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Delivers evidence based occupational therapy evaluation and treatment services typically offered in the clinic or community, including any follow-up services to ensure appropriate outcomes. Assures services are delivered in a safe and effective manner. Plans for 5-10 clinical visits per day. (Ongoing).
- Completes all aspects of clinical documentation including billing and all other assigned documentation. Records evaluations, goals, treatment plan, client response and progressive change in the client’s record according to established protocols and adheres to all departmental and regulatory policies. - Confers and collaborates with physicians, other health care practitioners, families and / or caregivers to obtain additional information; suggests revisions in treatment program and coordinates occupational therapy intervention with other care providers. (Ongoing).
- Orients, instructs and directs occupational therapy assistant and occupational therapy students in patient-related activities as assigned.
- Participates in program development and implementation activities as assigned.
- Participates in performance/quality improvement initiatives as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
Basic Life Support certification must be obtained within one month of hire date.
Basic Life Support certification (Online BLS certifications, those without a skills assessment component, are not sufficient to meet the BLS requirement).
