Spanish Translator/ Editor (Home-based LATAM)

Tripaneer is looking for a full-time home-based independent contractor who is based in Mexico and who can provide Spanish Editor/Translator services.

You will contribute in making sure our exciting experiences are available in Spanish for our Spanish speaking customers.

As a Native Spanish Editor/Translator, you will be responsible for the content of our website in your language. You will translate different kinds of content on our websites, ranging from emails to blog posts, from English to Spanish and from Spanish to English. You will also create and update listings in Spanish for our Spanish speaking organizers. You will also proofread the materials submitted by our organizers to ensure its quality.

Responsibilities:

• Translating content | 30-40% of work week

  • Translating content published on our websites from English to Spanish and from Spanish to English.

  • Translating emails to support our different teams.

  • Collaborating with our marketing team for Internet Marketing/SEO related tasks.

  • Supporting our customer service team with Spanish translation and communication.

• Editing, Updating & Proofreading | 50-60% of work week

  • Creating, updating, and publishing listings on our websites that are appealing to our Spanish Market while following the requests of our organizers.

  • Proofreading the content submitted by our organizers to guarantee its quality once published on our websites.

  • Communication via email with the organizers when needed.

  • Supporting our English editing team when needed.

Requirements

• Being a native Spanish speaker and having excellent written & verbal communication skills in English.

• Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, in any field.

• Fresh graduates / Entry level applicants are encouraged to apply.

• Excellent computer (Microsoft office) skills.

• Ability to stay focused while working on large tasks, while retaining close attention to details.

• Work attitude with focus for high accuracy and precision is a must.

• Ability to work independently, be proactive and use your own initiative.

• Proper registration as an independent contractor in your country of main residence from where you will be delivering the services is a hard requirement.
