Crownpoint Healthcare Facility in Crownpoint, NM is seeking dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurses for long-term travel contracts within an Indian Health Services (IHS) setting. • Long-term contract: 13 weeks up to 1 year, with extension opportunities 
• Ask about our Health Insurance and Benefit Options, including PTO 
• 12-hour day shifts 
• Flexible schedule options, including 36/48 hour alternating weeks or 7-on/7-off 
• Active RN license from any U.S. state accepted (no New Mexico license required) 
• Adults and Pediatric experience needed
• Previous IHS experience a plus
• 2 years of experience as an Acute care RN
• ER Experience required

Your Role:
As a Travel ER RN at CrownPoint, you’ll be a vital part of the emergency response team, delivering high-quality, fast-paced care to patients from diverse backgrounds. You will triage, stabilize, and treat patients with acute conditions in a community-based ER serving the local population surrounding Navajo Nation.

Responsibilities Include:

• Delivering rapid assessment and treatment of patients in emergency situations 
• Collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to provide evidence-based care 
• Administering medications, managing IVs, and maintaining accurate patient records 
• Responding to trauma and critical incidents with skill and confidence 
• Educating patients and families on treatments and discharge instructions 
• Supporting compliance with regulatory and hospital protocols 
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to a culture of excellence

Requirements

Registered Nurse (RN):

• Minimum of (2) two years experience required 
• Nursing experience in an ER in an Acute Care Setting required 
• Graduated from a National League of Nursing Accredited Nursing Program 
• Bachelor’s degree, Associate degree, or Diploma from an accredited professional nursing education program is required 
• Active BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) required 
• Applicant must have active and unrestricted, current licensure as a Professional Registered Nurse (RN) in any State, District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a Territory of the United States 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills 
• Previous experience with IHS Preferred 
• Previous Travel experience Preferred 
• Flexibility to work varying shifts and schedules 
• Must be a US citizen 
• Must be willing to pass a federal background check
