Maintenance Mechanic Supervisor

You must meet all eligibility and qualification requirements by the closing date of the job announcement. You must meet the following SCREEN-OUT(S) required for this position: Ability to supervise employees performing trades, crafts, and labor functions of construction, renovation, installation projects and maintenance and repair projects work including: Supervising at least five workers in maintenance, facilities, construction, or other hands‐on skilled trades work. Overseeing work on building systems, including heating and cooling, electrical work, and plumbing. Checking equipment and maintenance areas on a regular basis to look for safety problems or repair needs, writing down what you find, and giving workers tasks to fix the issues. Communicating clearly in writing and in person with employees, supervisors, contractors, and others to give instructions, explain work, and solve daily work problems.
