Position Summary
CVS Health’s Analytics & Behavior Change (A&BC) is an organization working to solve some of the most challenging problems at the intersection of technology and healthcare. A&BC leverages advanced analytics, machine learning, modeling, and a hypothesis-driven approach to quickly transform data into actionable, customer-centric insights to drive growth, improve health outcomes and access to health care across all our businesses in CVS Health. We are responsible for understanding the data flow from a business perspective to create a solution architecture to model the business. Our data teams build next generation data and machine learning platforms and products in the cloud that help power CVS Health to make healthier happen for 100+ million customers.

CVS Health has a distinctively comprehensive lens into elements of healthcare across the care journey. In this role, you will have a unique opportunity to generate innovative insights built on one of the largest single-source data libraries in healthcare. You will work hand-in-hand with prospective and existing enterprise pharmacy clients and with internal stakeholders to capture new growth opportunities. The ideal candidate will be adept at translating between business and technical concepts, fluidly working across both external and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Explore new data assets and capabilities, partnering closely with data engineering and data science, to gain expertise of unique characteristics and limitations
Facilitate creative problem solving and prioritization across business and technical teams (DS and engineering)
Scope and launch pilots to drive insights through CVS Health data
Translate business partner needs into technical requirements for the Data Science and Engineering teams, ensuring alignment and understanding
Collaborate with Engineering and Data Science teams to generate insights by clarifying requirements, and facilitating technical discussions
Generate comprehensive documents and storylines that incorporate insights from the data and analytics team, tailored to meet the needs of pharmaceutical clients
Prepare and deliver clear, concise, and impactful communications for C-level audience, ensuring that complex data insights are presented in an understandable and actionable manner
You will be working in a hybrid role (2-3 days a week onsite) in our CVS Health office in NYC.
Required Qualifications
5+ years’ experience in analytics or management consulting
5+ years’ experience in healthcare / digital health, with exposure to data and analytics
3+ years' experience communicating technical concepts and implications to business stakeholders and customers as well as business concepts and requirements to Data Science, Engineering, and other technical teams
3+ years' experience with building storylines using PowerPoint
2+ years' experience with data analysis, including SQL
Preferred Qualifications
Deep knowledge of various types of healthcare data, including strong grasp of data nuances, common use cases, and limitations, with experience in common analytics tools
Strong interest in the Healthcare and Pharmaceutical sector
Passionate about exploring the unknown and unafraid of ambiguity
Strong communication with peers and senior leaders, both 1:1 and in small groups
Education
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences, or a related field required
Master's degree preferred
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$142,140.00 - $284,280.00
