Position Overview:

As part of the talented Navico Group Sales team, you will significantly contribute to year over year sales growth and operational improvement through growing existing business, finding new business and representing Navico Group within their assigned territory.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage and grow regional customer accounts, ensuring exceptional service levels, long‑term relationship development, and overall customer satisfaction.
  • Achieve and exceed regional sales targets while maintaining strong profit margins and supporting sustainable growth.
  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within the assigned territory to expand market presence.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with marketing, product, finance, and operations teams to execute integrated sales initiatives and support customer needs.
  • Develop annual customer sales targets and deliver accurate, data‑driven sales forecasts to inform company planning.
  • Resolve escalated customer issues promptly, ensuring positive outcomes and protecting customer relationships.
  • Create and execute territory sales strategies aligned with overall company objectives, ensuring consistent market coverage and growth.
  • Partner with planning, replenishment, and operations teams to optimize inventory levels, streamline processes, and meet sales demand.
  • Support product development and pricing efforts, providing brands with insights that reflect customer needs and market dynamics.
  • Deliver brand‑specific training programs to customers as needed.
  • Monitor and report competitive activity, providing timely intelligence to help guide strategic decision‑making.
  • Ensure full compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant legal and regulatory requirements across the region.
  • Other duties assigned.

Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of sales experience in marine, RV, specialty vehicle, industrial, or automotive industries.
  • 3+ years selling technical or engineered products.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; Power BI a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive customer insights.
  • Proven territory‑management experience, including call planning and pipeline development.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Solid understanding of basic financial statements.
  • Strong strategic and day‑to‑day problem‑solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Strong ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience managing distribution channels and dealer networks.
  • Meaningful sales or sales‑management experience, ideally in the marine or fishing industry.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth with customers.
  • Strong creative problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities.
  • Flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing markets.

Travel Requirements:

  • 30% - 60% travel depending on season

Working Conditions:

  • Normal office working conditions. Typically requires prolonged sitting with consistent computer functionality.
  • Ability to communicate information and ideas for others to understand by phone, email, and/or messaging.
