Key Responsibilities:
Providing comprehensive nutritional care to patients on assigned inpatient units, including critical care.
Evaluating medical, biochemical, and nutritional information and assessing patient needs to develop and implement appropriate nutrition care plans.
Assisting in the supervision of the daily work of the dietetic technician.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition.
Experience:
At least three (3) years of progressive experience in Dietetics, including two (2) years in pediatric nutrition.
Licensure/Certifications:
Registered Dietitian (RD) credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
Licensed Dietitian in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
CNSC preferred; required within six (6) months of hire.
Additional Skills:
Strong analytical skills to resolve complex problems using scientific, mathematical, and technical principles.
Experience working in critical care settings preferred.
