Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing comprehensive nutritional care to patients on assigned inpatient units, including critical care.

  • Evaluating medical, biochemical, and nutritional information and assessing patient needs to develop and implement appropriate nutrition care plans.

  • Assisting in the supervision of the daily work of the dietetic technician.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition.

Experience:

  • At least three (3) years of progressive experience in Dietetics, including two (2) years in pediatric nutrition.

Licensure/Certifications:

  • Registered Dietitian (RD) credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.

  • Licensed Dietitian in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

  • CNSC preferred; required within six (6) months of hire.

Additional Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills to resolve complex problems using scientific, mathematical, and technical principles.

  • Experience working in critical care settings preferred.
