Location

This position is a full-time, office-based position which will be located in our Louisville, CO office.

Position Summary

The newly hired facilities director is responsible for serving as the primary point of contact for Infleqtion’s global facilities-and safety-related needs, including creating roadmaps and developing/driving a global strategy; budgeting; contract and building negotiations; building out and managing additional space and locations; overseeing maintenance, safety, and security; building and ISO compliance; clean rooms; and managing contractors and vendors. The GFD will also lead, manage, develop, and mentor a team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, mentor, coach, and hire a global team of direct and in-direct team members
  • Develop and advocate for the over-arching organization and strategy of Global Facilities and Safety
  • Serve as the company’s dedicated Facilities Security Officer and lead/coordinate all aspects of facility safety including implementation and compliance with all OSHA standards, ensure proper and regular trainings are executed for all company personnel, manage and maintain required safety precautions for hazardous materials, chemicals, processes, laser safety, etc.
  • Execute approved strategy via clearly defined and clearly articulated ‘team-generated’ roadmaps for each functional area and location, synchronizing with the larger Infleqtion roadmap
  • Responsible and accountable for the department’s overall budget, develop and modify current budgets as required
  • Owner of all aspects of global facilities, including safety, for the Boulder and Louisville campuses; Provide guidance, support, and oversight to all other locations in the US and globally
  • Ensure organization is ISO 9000 certified and in compliance at all times
  • Oversee and be the primary SME and point-of-contact for vendor management, project planning, office operational support, coordinating office requirements for space planning, furniture procurement, and other cross-functional projects
  • Manage resources (internal/external) for assigned projects, ensuring projects are delivered on-time and within budget
  • Oversee construction, expansion, and tenant improvement projects, keeping key stakeholders informed of project deliverables through reporting and general updates
  • Ensure compliance with administrative, legal, and regulatory requirements of all governmental and accrediting agencies as they relate to facilities, maintenance, and safety; Escalates any found or anticipated risks for the organization
  • Conducts regular facilities inspections and ensures the facility is clean and maintained; Ensures the organization is prepared for any planned or unplanned inspections
  • Drives all health and safety initiatives as lead safety officer
  • Coordinates with HR, legal, and finance (large) employee moves and relocations
  • Utilize (and implement?) Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) software to centralize and optimize facilities operations
  • Manages building security systems and protocols
  • Coordinate gathering and documentation of stakeholder facilities requirements

Requirements

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a related or technical field plus 12 years relevant and progressive experience; Advanced business or technical degree a plus
