About the role

Description

Dometic Marine’s facility in Litchfield, IL is our main distribution center that manages the packaging and distribution of aftermarket marine and OPE industrial products.  


Warehouse Manager is responsible for warehousing and distribution operations. Overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, value-adding servicing, and dispatch of a wide variety of products. Ensuring productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly.

Main Responsibilities:


• Responsible for ensuring a safe work environment and compliance with safety programs

• Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision

• Responsible for two shift warehouse operation: receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations

• Plan work, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results

• Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization

• Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures

• Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements

• Produce reports, presentations, and statistics regularly (Daily Pick/Pack Rates, Order Fill, etc.)

• Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided

• Responsible for shipping results (fill rates, order accuracy, etc.) and inventory accuracy

• Responsible for warehouse time keeping and ensure compliance with HR Policies

• Partner with Lean resources to continually improve warehouse efficiencies

• Partner with HR to develop and implement a long-term employee training program


Requirements

Qualifications and experience:

• Bachelors in a business-related field preferred or equivalent work experience required

• Strong knowledge of the Microsoft 365 (Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerBI, PowerPoint, etc)

• ERP/MRP experience required; Fourth shift experience preferred

• Experience in working with 3PLs, Transportation Brokers or Forwarders preferred
