The Opportunity

Incode is looking for curious, highly driven, and hard-working candidates who want to be part of Incode’s revolutionary identity solutions that will transform human authentication and verification.

As the Head of Product Design you will partner with Product Managers, Engineers, Designers, and User Research to plan and build innovative and delightful experiences for our end-users and partners. Responsible for building an inclusive team of driven and inspiring designers who you will actively mentor, challenge, and grow. Drive the design vision and strategy for Incode’s mobile as well as web-based products.  

The ideal candidate will have several years of experience in product design. Will be comfortable collaborating with both creative and technical teams. This role is responsible for working with teams to iterate quickly on product experiments and pilots and should be well versed in using data to help their teams identify opportunities for UX/UI improvements. The head of product design should be passionate about leading and coaching designers and growing individual contributors. Additionally, this leader will build out a growing team. 

Responsibilities:

• As Head of Product Design on the Product Team, you will own end-to-end design of software features and initiatives, from start to finish – defining workflows, wireframes, mocks, and interactions to deliver unique and innovative experiences 
• Design & ship an insanely great product 
• Collaborate with the brand team to start incorporating a consistent Incode brand into our product, without damaging engagement or retention
• Translating company goals into design priorities, defining effective cross-team workflows, and ensuring that designers are happy and motivated 
• Conduct user research and usability testing 
• Own feature designs that create engaging and immersive mobile experiences across multiple device types on iOS & Android 
• Collaborate with development team to ensure product meets design vision and user needs 
• Identify and evaluate potential opportunities to improve existing designs 
• Continuously iterate on design based on feedback from user testing and data analysis 
• Communicate designs through UX deliverables such as sketching, storyboards, sitemaps, wireframes, flowcharts, prototypes, and presentations 
• Collaborate with other leads to develop inspiring storyboards to communicate design concepts to team members, cross-functional teams, and executives 
• Incorporate user & market research into design solutions – understanding user needs and market landscape to deliver unique, yet appropriate, design solutions 
• Provide design support for executive communications such as board meeting decks, or internal content 
• Identify creative opportunities by understanding our audience, the competitive landscape, and industry trends 
• Roll-up your sleeves and design, execute and deliver on projects 

Requirements:

• 10+ years of relevant experience 
• Adapt to working in a fast-moving, high-stakes environment 
• High drive and initiative 
• Responsible, dedicated, owning decisions 
• Advanced Adobe and Microsoft Office user 
• Advantages: Experience with Sketch, Figma 
• Ability to work autonomously
