Global IT Senior System Administrator (m/w/d)

In your role as a Global IT Senior System Administrator you will be part of our Global IT Infrastructure & Operations Team and manage on-premises systems and cloud infrastructures.

Your responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the hybrid IT infrastructure, including on-premises and cloud systems

• Implement and manage Docker containers and orchestration with Kubernetes

• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation

• Planning and implementation of IT infrastructure projects

• Second level support for handling issues in a manufacturing environment

• Document system configurations and operational procedures

Your profile:

• Degree in Computer Science or comparable qualifications

• Proven experience in managing on-premises and cloud systems (VMware, MS Azure, AWS)

• In-depth Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server environment

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for container management

• Ability to solve complex problems and work independently

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Fluent in Englisch as well as Italian and/or German
