Position Highlights
The Lane County Circuit Court in Eugene, Oregon, is hiring an Information Technology Associate.
In this role, you will help judges and court staff, members of the public, and external agencies by providing advanced technical support for video conferencing equipment, digital recording systems, telephones, multimedia presentation systems, web applications, virtual servers, and storage area networks. You will provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for software, hardware, communications, and data-related issues. You will keep an equipment inventory, prepare detailed system design documentation, and maintain user documentation, training materials, and other instructional aides. You will also conduct comprehensive analyses, identify the court’s application and programming needs, and use SharePoint and PowerShell to develop specifications and write custom software solutions.
Additionally, you will plan, configure, install, inventory, and upgrade workstations, printers, and audio/visual systems. You will perform server and security administration tasks, including network and application monitoring, vulnerability and patch management, incident response, and disaster recovery planning and execution. You will conduct regular server backups and troubleshoot system failures, either directly or by escalating them to OJD’s Enterprise Technology Services Division. You will manage network systems, subsystems, and devices, administer user accounts, and provide local administration support for Microsoft Outlook.
