We’re currently looking for a  Embedded Software Engineer with professional experience to join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in developing state-of-the-art communications systems by implementing embedded software communication protocols, encryption algorithms, and platform software for advanced software-defined radios (SDRs). These technologies enable pilots and soldiers to securely transmit data, voice, and imagery in real time.

You Will Do

  • Develop and integrate multi-threaded embedded software using C and C++ for complex product codebases
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of embedded software solutions for advanced communications systems
  • Support project efforts across the software development lifecycle, including requirements definition, implementation, test case creation, verification, and certification activities
  • Mentor junior software engineers, providing guidance on both technical concepts and development processes
  • Lead and coordinate upcoming work efforts, helping prioritize tasks and align deliverables
  • Consistently deliver high-quality results while maintaining project timelines and fostering a collaborative team environment
  • Build strong working relationships with team members through in-person and virtual collaboration
  • Contribute to software design within moderately sized components of the overall system architecture

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance


Qualifications We Prefer

  • Working knowledge and competency with C, C++ and/or Linux 
  • Experience coding in an embedded environment 
  • Experience in multi-threaded development
