About the role:
As the Director of Dev Rel & Community, your role is to build and scale Replit’s relationships and presence with developers. You’ll work with various types of developers, including Community Builders, Teams, and Enterprise. You’ll hire, grow, and lead a team of individuals to create and distribute useful developer content.
Examples of what you could do:
Work with leadership and your team on a roadmap for Dev Rel & Community, including defining success and executing against it
With your team, build a campaign for getting started in AI at Replit, including educational content, sample apps, and events to set people up for success
Work with Biz Ops on strategy to win prospective B2B Replit customers
You will…
Create and execute a Dev Rel & Community strategy that aligns with Replit's business goals and objectives.
Hire, grow, and develop a team of content creators and developer advocates
Grow Replit’s community of builders; cultivate strong relationships with developers and software creators
Create educational content such as tutorials, blogs, videos, and other resources to empower, showcase, and educate the developer community.
Act as a liaison between the community and the broader company, maintaining a pulse on needs, sharing feedback, and helping shape the Replit roadmap
Work closely with Marketing, Product, Engineering, and across the company to realize a vision of deeper engagement and wider adoption of Replit
Required skills and experience:
Deep experience in developer relations at technical companies
Experience in building and growing a technical team
A track record of speaking at technology conferences, blogging, and writing technical articles
History of strong relationships across functions, especially Engineering and Marketing
Bonus Points:
Experience at companies with Self Serve and B2B motions
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
