Job Description

Envision spending your summer working with energetic colleagues and inspirational leaders, all while gaining world-class experience in one of the most dynamic organizations in the pharmaceutical industry. This is a reality for AbbVie’s Interns.   

The primary goal for this position will be Time Study execution.  Intern will be partnering with our data analyst to understand volumes and source data.  They will network with business partners to calculate and verify time spent on order processing and exception handling.  This person will be encouraged to submit ideas for continuous improvements given their overviews of the business processes and limited visibility to processing systems. 

Secondary goals may include but are not limited to: Gathering efficiencies with phone systems and Interactive Voice Response, continuous improvement recommendations for KANA system (used to gather customer inquiries), data analytics and reporting.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications    

  • Currently enrolled in college or university, pursuing a bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations, engineering, or related major  
  • Must be enrolled in school the semester directly following the internship  
  • Expected graduation date between December 2026 – June 2027

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Exposure to SAP ERP and/ or JDA planning system  
  • Critical thinker: ability to assess and solve problems independently with minimal guidance  
  • Proactive and results-driven mindset; self-starter  
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills  
  • Experience in basic business tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
