The Air Defense Ground Equipment (ADGE) Department leads mechanical design, development, and integration of platform systems. This includes shelter systems, hardware integration, and cable & interconnections. The department is comprised of individuals with technical expertise and experience in hardware design, integration, and production support

The department is seeking a Electrical Engineer to perform research, design, analysis, and development in such areas as mechanical systems, thermal systems, materials, test equipment, hardware processes, or manufacturing processes. The position is for an ON-SITE role within the ADGE Team in Tewksbury, MA. You would apply your skills to the planning, design, development and testing of mechanical and/or electro-mechanical systems, instruments, controls, and/or machines.

What You Will Do

  • Training and application of RTX tools including CREO and PDM
  • Design and Documentation support utilizing engineering tools, Adobe, and MS office suite.
  • Engineering Change and Drawing Release
  • Analytical and Technical engineering work within a program environment with possible presentations on designs as needed.
  • Training on Raytheon processes and procedures

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM). 
  • Engineering Project or Internship experience
  • Experience utilizing CAD (Computer Aided Design) tools such as CREO or equivalent
  • Experience developing and delivering presentations (verbal and/or written)
  • This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships)

Qualifications We Prefer

  • 3.0 cumulative GPA desired
  • Familiar with simple electrical circuits, cables, point to point wiring
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Microsoft Office or other presentation tools

The salary range for this role is 55,000 USD - 107,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
