JOB SUMMARY: 

Provide programming support in the development and enhancement of applications and information systems within the Mass Properties Engineering department. Gather and analyze requirements to develop applications that are effective solutions. Gain an understanding of how the customer uses the systems. Make use of programming languages to accomplish development tasks.    

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Development of analytical tools and methods to improve productivity and quality of data in the Mass Properties Engineering department.
• Develop mass properties data reports utilizing query languages such as SQL. 
• Improve the process of data consumption and how data is viewed and used by others.
• Develops new applications and features of existing applications by transforming user requirements into an effective and efficient application solution.
• Regularly reports progress by communicating project status to leadership.
• Utilizes the available programming tools by educating one’s self on tools and applying them on programming activities to produce application deliverables more productively.
• Coordinates with IT department to ensure best practices are utilized for application security features and version control.
