2024 Electrical Engineering Intern, Production Support

V2X Aerospace Solutions is seeking an Electrical Engineering student to aid the manufacturing engineering team in its support of production or repairs of electronic assemblies. The candidate must be able to develop technical solutions to complex problems that require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity. The candidate should also be able to support multiple projects, in a fast-paced team environment. NOTE: This position is on site daily.

Job responsibilities include:

• Work alongside an Electrical Manufacturing Engineer mentor to help support production or repair of electronic assemblies such as radar systems, flight displays, circuit card assemblies, wire harness assemblies or other defense released electronic equipment.
• Help in development of manufacturing procedures.
• Aid in troubleshooting of electronic circuits.
• Support the electronics manufacturing area to implement process improvements

Required Skills:

• Experience with electronic hardware.
• Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot electronics problems.
• Ability to communicate effectively in a team environment.
• Skilled with Microsoft Office applications

Desired Skills:

• Specialty expertise in RF electronics, circuit card development or manufacturing, cable assembly manufacturing or other similar discipline.

Education Requirements:

High School Diploma. Actively pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
