About the RoleLeadership Connect is actively seeking a Marketing Content Specialist to join the Marketing Team. This role will collaborate with the Director of Marketing to help curate monthly email newsletters, aligning with our brand voice and marketing goals. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and develop company content under a marketing and branding strategy. 

Core Functions of the Role:

  • Create data-driven content such as expert articles & blogs, whitepapers & reports, case studies, newsletter content, government & policy updates, current events, event & conference coverage, landing pages, product descriptions, infographics & data visualizations, video scripts, polls & surveys. 
  • Create webinar takeaway articles that summarize key insights and provide actionable value for attendees. 
  • Craft SEO-friendly product descriptions and feature pages for the marketing website.  
  • Write detailed product-related articles, highlighting features, benefits, and use cases to educate and inform users. 
  • Collaborate with product managers to ensure content accuracy and alignment with the latest product updates. 
  • Partner with the marketing team to brainstorm and execute content campaigns that drive engagement and conversions. 
  • Coordinate with subject matter experts to ensure content relevance and authority. 
  • Work closely with the Marketing Director to create visually engaging content for social media and newsletters. 
  • Stay updated on industry trends, current events, and competitors to keep content fresh and engaging. 
  • Monitor content performance metrics and adjust strategies to improve engagement and ROI. 
  • Using Canva premade templates, create graphics for social media and website content. 
  • Active everyday contributor on LinkedIn, commenting on posts that involve client and prospective client interests 
  • Build relationships with media and journalists to promote our tools, data, and content. 

About You:

  • A creative storyteller with a talent for producing engaging, concise content tailored to various audiences and platforms.
  • Experience with marketing campaign tools such as HubSpot or Pardot. 
  • Working knowledge of excel to help support your articles with data from Leadership Connect and external data. 
  • Collaborative and communicative, working effectively with leadership and cross-functional teams to meet shared goals. 
  • Curious and informed, staying on top of industry trends and current events to create timely, relevant content. 
  • Results-driven, using data insights to refine strategies and boost content performance. 
  • A strategic thinker, capable of aligning content with broader marketing objectives and brand identity. 
  • Detail-oriented and precise, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all written and visual materials. 
  • Versatile, skilled at writing for a variety of formats, including newsletters, articles, product pages, and social media. 
  • Resourceful, leveraging expertise from internal and external sources to ensure content authority and relevance. 
  • Visually mindful, understanding the importance of design and layout in enhancing the impact of written content. 
  • Engaging, able to distill complex ideas into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences. 
  • Proactive, eager to brainstorm new ideas and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
