In order to capture customer value and business opportunity ASML needs effective business performance improvements. The sector Business Performance Improvement (BPI) has been set up to connect teams across ASML to deliver business performance improvements and to enjoy learning along the way. BPI operates as a sector, a collaboration network (sector heads of BPI & Strategy) and applies a common way of working (BPI key decision process) to increase the effectiveness of ASML's cross sector initiatives to improve business performance.

BPI Learning is part of the BPI Business Change Management (BCM) team which focuses on:

  • Developing and driving the business change strategy

  • Realizing the required behavioral changes

  • Change competence building (including Communication and Learning)

  • Supporting the change with effective Learning Solutions

The BPI Learning Team, in collaboration with the ASML Sector Academies, analyzes learning requirements in order to design, develop and deploy Learning Curricula and Solutions for the ASML Prioritized Initiatives and Products.


Role and responsibilities

In this role as Senior Learning Project Lead you will:

  • Act as a Learning Business Partner in establishing and maintaining strong connections with the ASML Academies to enable effective cross-sector collaboration on learning design and development;

  • Build strong relationships with the Academies, understand business context and help them to understand API context to collaborate on learning strategy implementation;

  • Support the ASML Prioritized Initiatives (APIs) and Products by managing the end-to-end delivery of effective Learning Solutions and Learning Journeys;

  • Act as an advisor for learning to the API Teams and ensure that the business needs, critical to realize long term transformation strategy are identified and translated into Learning & Knowledge Management solutions;

  • Act as the cross-sector liaison between the API Teams and Academies in order to effectively collaborate with sector Academies on the design and development of Learning Solutions for the APIs;

  • Manage and collaborate with Stakeholders both within the Initiative & Product Teams but also cross-Academy to align on Learning Roadmaps and Journeys;

  • Manage the implementation of Learning & Knowledge Management strategies in the APIs to enable business success based on deep understanding of the transformation programs and adoption by end users;

  • Analyze the learning requirements to develop and implement a Learning Plan, ensuring it is in alignment with the change adoption plan, keeping a strong focus on the end user;

  • Lead a sub-team of Learning Experts and Learning Developers to create the learning material;

  • Deliver the learning solutions within the triple constraint of budget, time and scope;

  • Exchange best practices and continuous learning with other BPI Learning Project Leads.

You will do this by working in close collaboration with Sector Academies, Product Change Managers and Communication Professionals in order to achieve maximum return on investment through high user adoption and efficient use of new ways of working, processes, and systems.

 Education and experience

  • Bachelor's or master's degree;

  • Proven experience (5+ years) working in a Learning and Development Environment in a large matrix organization (experience in ASML organization is a plus);

  • Proven experience (3+) years of Project Management;

  • Knowledge and experience in Learning Methodologies such as ADDIE, 5 Moments of Need etc;

  • Experience of organizational change / transformation programs in a technical industrial cross-cultural environment a plus;

  • Training, facilitation and coaching skills and experience at various organizational levels (leadership to shop-floor);

  • Knowledge and experience of change management and continuous improvement methods such as Lean and/or Agile a plus;

  • Knowledge and experience in Communication a plus.
