Application Architect (Java)

We currently have a vacancy for an Application Architect (Java) fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will work remotely. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team remotely.

Your tasks:

• Architecture and design of information systems and review of the architecture of existing systems;
• Design and development of architectural components and building blocks as well as analysis of the integration of different information systems;
• Production of software architecture documents and participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the users;
• Design of application data and workflow models as well as APIs using suitable frameworks, such as REST and Swagger;
• Design and development of software components and building blocks using suitable back-end components and frameworks (Java Spring, JPA);
• Design and implementation of application integration with corporate IAM services for authentication and authorization purposes;
• Delivery of CI/CD pipelines and implementation of code.

Requirements

• Master’s degree, combined with relevant IT professional experience of 13 years;
• At least 6 years of experience in developing information systems and Java web applications;
• At least 3 years of experience in the development of complex information systems as well as Java Spring and REST APIs;
• At least 3 years of experience in frontend development using Angular or Kendo UI;
• At least 2 years of experience with Agile software development (refactoring, test-driven development, user story modelling);
• Good knowledge of Atlassian tools, such as Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, and Bamboo;
• Good knowledge of Maven, Jenkins, Docker and Junit;
• Good knowledge of Enterprise Architecture, CI/CD applications and container technologies;
• Good knowledge of Relational DBMS, such as Oracle DB and SQL as well as modelling methods, such as UML;
• Good knowledge of application profiling, Clean Architecture (ports & adapters) and DDD concepts;
• Knowledge of the SCRUM development methodology will be considered as an asset;
• Excellent command of the English language.
