IT Specialist (InfoSec) (Information Security Risk Threat Analyst)

BASIC EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT Individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. In addition to the BASIC EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT, applicants must also meet the following: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Applicants must have one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-12 grade level, which has provided them with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of an IT Specialist (InfoSec) (Information Security Risk Threat Analyst) position at the GS-13 grade level. Specialized experience includes: Experience conducting risk assessments to report vulnerabilities; and Experience developing incident reports, disaster recovery and contingency plans to ensure operational continuity and effective emergency response for incidents; and Experience reviewing and analyzing directives, polices, regulations, and procedures to implement policy. This experience must be fully supported and articulated in your resume to receive consideration.
