Pay Rate: $29.08 / Hour
Job Schedule:
DayTimeWed10:00 PM - 06:00 AMThur10:00 PM - 06:00 AMWhat You’ll Do:
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergencies as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or unusual situations to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist visitors and employees with directions and general information as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services when required by site protocols.
- Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations as directed by Allied Universal and site management.

Minimum Requirements:
- Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Handcuffing certification is preferred.
- A valid guard card or security license issued by the state, county, or city is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
