About The Team

The Crunchyroll Store team is dedicated to super serving anime fans by offering the best selection of merchandise, seamless UX and outstanding customer service. Team values: Hard Working, Integrity, Humility, Generosity and Fun!

About The Role

Our team is looking for a Junior Buyer to work closely with our eCommerce team. In this role you will be exposed to all facets of operating an ecommerce business from the ground up including sales, marketing, product development, logistics, and more. You should have high standards for quality of work, excellent communication skills, take initiative, project manage and prioritize daily tasks.

About You:

• 2 years of buying experience in an eCommerce or retail business 
• Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience
• Data driven self-starter who can thrive in a high growth & entrepreneurial environment
• Strong written, oral communication
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word
• Creative problem solver with the ability to focus and reprioritize tasks to meet larger business goals
• Commitment to a high quality of work 
• Genuine interest/passion for anime and pop culture is a plus!

A Day In The Life Of Our Junior Buyer:

• Regularly analyze and understand sales data and market trends to develop and implement relevant strategies to drive sales growth
• Maintain a clear and detailed understanding of inventory positions, commitments, and the impact on business
• Manage positive vendor relationships encouraging negotiations, in season shifts, exclusive development, on time shipments & deliveries, etc.
• Proactively look after open purchase orders and development
• Coordinate with Operations team to reconcile receiving / shipment issues
• Clearly communicate big bets and key product stories to cross functional teams for aligned and creative storytelling
• Demonstrate ability to perform price and cost analysis
• Validate and approve invoices and manage payment approvals.
• Other supply chain, data entry, analysis and duties as assigned
