Shifts Available:
Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Rotating Weekends)
Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Rotating Weekends)
Salary Range:
0–5 years: $27.72/hr
5+ years: $33.00/hr
10+ years: $36.30/hr
15+ years: $39.60/hr
Shift Differentials:
Nights: +$3.00/hr
Weekends: +$2.00/hr
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $20,000 (case by case)
Relocation Assistance: Case by case
Position Overview:
Join the Med-Surg Ortho team at a modern 288-bed hospital serving Leon and Gadsden Counties. This unit specializes in caring for patients with both medical and orthopedic surgical needs. As a Med-Surg Ortho RN, you'll work in a team-focused environment dedicated to high-quality, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect comprehensive patient data and conduct clinical assessments
Advocate for patient safety within an interdisciplinary care team
Educate patients and families about medications, treatments, and procedures
Ensure appropriate use of healthcare resources to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience (acute care preferred; LTAC acceptable)
Active RN license in Florida or eligible to obtain prior to start
BLS certification required
ACLS preferred (required within 6 months of hire)
BSN preferred
Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:5–1:6
