Details:
- Shift: 1st (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM)
- Pay - $24.99
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintains a high focus on safety and quality within the department
- Identify work schedule prioritization via resource planning software (SAP, MII)
- Reads and interprets blueprints, machine drawings, symbols to determine specific welding requirements
- Measure components and verify they are within specified tolerances
- Set up weld equipment for specific task to be performed
- Ability to weld components using proper equipment settings and techniques
- Operate material handling equipment as needed, based on safety guidelines
- Perform daily housekeeping tasks (5S) and preventative maintenance tasks
- All other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Between 6-12 months welding experience, preferred
- Basic Math & Computer skills, required
- Ability to pass welding test on material in use, required
- Ability to safely operate equipment (welder, torch, plasma cutter, grinder, material handling equipment), required
- Ability to operate basic hand/power tools and read measuring devices
- Ability distinguish the various thickness and types of material
- Strong attention to detail and high focus on safety and quality
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Robotic welding/programming experience is a plus
Physical Demands
- Must lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Standing for a minimum of 8 hours per day
- Continuous lifting, kneeling, pulling, bending, etc.
