Your Opportunity: Taylor Communications, a division of Taylor Corporation, is looking for a 1st Shift Production Hand Packager / Finisher to join our team in Arden Hills, Minnesota.

Your Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret job information on orders to determine production operation
• Set up and operate folding machine, including calibration, cleaning, and related setup duties
• Insert statements and related materials into envelopes for mailing
• Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools
• Make continuous quality checks throughout operations
• Troubleshoot simple issues that may occur during the shift
• Report problems or concerns with quality results to senior management immediately
• Place letters or packages into bins to be shipped once inserted
• Utilize job instructions, documentation, and quality procedures accurately
• Understand DRS and Count Mode processing
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with regulations

Your Shift: 1st Shift; Tuesday - Saturday, 6:00am - 2:00pm

You Must Have:

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Basic measuring skills, including the ability to read a ruler and other measurement devices
• Basic problem-solving skills
• Basic computer skills, including the ability to open, save, and print a file and enter data
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends based on production schedule
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods of time
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal

Requirements Within This Position:

• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
• Constantly handles print materials and operates machinery
• Frequently required to move inside the facility
• Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)

We Would Also Prefer:

• Prior experience within the mailing industry or a fast-paced, high-production environment

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. This range is just one component of Taylor Corporation’s total compensation and benefits package for employees.
