As a Forklift Operator, you are responsible for supporting production by maintaining warehouse accuracy and being prompt with requests. It is vital for Forklift Operators to be focused on safety while prioritizing a high volume of materials requests. It is essential that a Forklift Operator can work successfully, both independently and as part of a team. 

Essential Job Functions: 

1. Package and prepare orders for shipment by customer specifications.
2. Unloading of Freight Trucks and complete necessary paperwork for the front office.
3. Pull finished goods from production and store appropriately in the warehouse.
4. Operate forklift for loading/unloading finished goods and general material movement.
5. Maintain housekeeping standard that ensures there is a place for everything, and everything is in its place.
6. Understand and work to all safety requirements for all workstations assigned, be attentive to safety guidelines and report any unsafe condition.
7. Committed to continuous process improvement and to producing safe, quality products that meet specifications and our responsibility to our customers
8. Understand and work to all quality requirements for all workstations assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

• Warehouse/manufacturing experience 
• General user experience with computers is preferred 

Education and Certifications: 

• High school diploma or GED 
• Ability to obtain/maintain a forklift certification is required

Physical Requirements:

• Be on your feet for 10-12 hours
• Able to lift 40 pounds unassisted
• Able to reach, bend, kneel and climb while performing repetitive tasks
• Ability to work in hot and cold environments
