It offers clearing services across asset classes including OTC and listed rates; CDS and FX; fixed income; commodities; cash equities and equity derivatives.</p><p></p><p></p><p><b>Overall functional objective</b></p><p></p><p>The primary objective of the role is to ensure the organization's resilience and ability to continue critical operations during and after disruptive events. This role involves developing, maintaining, and continuously improving comprehensive Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) across all business lines. The role coordinates Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) to identify critical functions and assess the potential impact of disruptions, ensuring that all plans are robust and effective.</p><p>A key responsibility is to guide and support Business Continuity Coordinators (BCC) from various departments, ensuring consistency and efficiency in the BCPs. This role also involves identifying potential risks to business operations and developing strategies in partnership with BCCs to mitigate these risks, thereby enhancing the entitys overall resilience.</p><p>Overall, this is a critical role in safeguarding the operations, ensuring preparedness for any disruptions, and maintaining business continuity.</p><p></p><p>This role is part of the First Line Resilience team (COO office) and reports to the Head of First Line Resilience.</p><p></p><p><b>Operational responsibilities:</b> </p><ul><li>BCPs: Oversee the coordination of the creation, updating, and testing of BCPs for all departments.</li><li>BIAs: Lead the coordination process of identifying critical business functions and the impact of potential disruptions.</li><li>Coordinate with BCCs: Provide guidance and support to coordinators from various business lines to ensure consistency and efficiency in continuity planning.</li><li>Continuous Improvement: Regularly review and improve business continuity processes and plans based on lessons learned and good practices.</li><li>Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, and prepare reports for senior management, Group enquiries and regulatory bodies.</li><li>Partners engagement: Engage with internal and external partners to improve alignment and support for business continuity initiatives.</li><li>Training and Awareness: Conduct training sessions and awareness programs for staff on business continuity practices and procedures. </li></ul><p></p><p><b>Develop and manage main partnerships with:  </b> </p><ul><li>BCCs: From all teams within the organization.</li><li>Operational Resilience Framework Lead: To ensure alignment with overall resilience strategies.</li><li>Operational Resilience Coordination Lead: To coordinate resilience efforts across the organization.</li><li>Similar Roles from the Group: To share best practices and ensure consistency.</li><li>BCM Risk Manager from the 2nd Line of Defence: To align risk management and business continuity efforts.</li><li>Liaise with regulators when required.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Experience Required</b></p><ul><li>At least 10 years of relevant experience in the financial industry, w
