The Child & Family Therapist - Bilingual is responsible for providing clinical mental health services to children, families, and adults in an outpatient community mental health clinic. Responsibilities will include intakes, diagnosis, case management, and mental health therapy services to identified clients. This role will provide support to Spanish-speaking clients and families, so fluency in both English & Spanish is required. We strongly prefer a candidate at the Child & Family Therapist level (completed master's degree) but will also consider hiring at the Child & Family Counselor level (master's degree in progress) for the right candidate. Work Schedule: Monday-Friday business hours; must work two nights per week until 7pm.
Responsibilities:
- Provide intake assessments, diagnosis, and ongoing culturally sensitive treatment using Evidenced Based Practices to children families, and adults
- Complete required documentation within the identified timeframes
- Develop clinical treatment plans which focus on client strengths, culture, needs, and goals within the briefest time frame for successful achievement.
- Maintain productivity of 60% reportable / billable services
- Participate in ongoing Continuous Quality Improvement to assure the services provided demonstrate best practice standards and meet all contractual requirements
- Actively participate in individual and group supervision, clinical staff meetings, and other multi-disciplinary meetings
- Staff cases which require specialist consultations and psychiatric consultation as required
- Coordinate client treatment with schools, physicians, and other community resources and referrals to community services whenever necessary
- Observe confidentiality in all related program functions with staff and clients
- Establish and maintain working relationships with other community mental health providers, primary care, and other referral sources
- Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:
This position normally requires the physical demands of standing, walking, bending, lifting or performing other work requiring low physical exertion, talking and hearing on a regular basis to perform the job requirements. These physical demands are required up to 80% of the time. Position also requires ability to drive with adequate vision.
Non-Physical Requirements:
Qualifications for candidates hired at the Counselor level: $25.50 - $29.50 per hour DOE
- Bachelor's degree completed and in progress toward a master's degree in social work, counseling, or a related degree leading to eligibility for licensure. Must be within 1 year of obtaining the master's degree.
Qualifications for candidates hired at the Therapist level: $33.65 - $40.87 per hour + signing bonus of $4000-$8000 DOE
- Master's degree in social work, counseling, or a related degree leading to eligibility for licensure
- LMHCA, LICSWA, LMHC, LICSW, or Licensed Agency Affiliated Counselor credentials with the WA Dept of Health
- Mental Health Professional (MHP) designation based on clinical licensure
