This position will be based in a home office anywhere in the U.S with priority given to candidates who reside in Minnesota.

Teach Minnesota Teaching Fellows (TMTF) is TNTP’s Minnesota-based, state-approved alternative pathway into teaching. The program is designed to expand the pipeline of effective, diverse educators and address persistent teacher shortages through rigorous preparation, classroom experience, and ongoing coaching.

What You’ll Do
The Part-time Director, Fundraising will lead strategy and execution for fundraising across Teach Minnesota Teaching Fellows, including securing funding, cultivating relationships, and leading grant writing and reporting. This role is estimated to be approximately 10 hours/week.
The Part-time Director, Fundraising will report to the Partner, Teach Minnesota Teaching Fellows (TMTF) and collaborate closely with the TMTF team, the national fundraising team, and other key partners across the organization. The Part-time Director, Fundraising - TMTF is accountable for achieving annual fundraising targets.
The position’s specific responsibilities include:
Fundraising Strategy and Revenue Generation:
Develop and execute fundraising strategy aligned to sustainability and growth goals
Drive annual fundraising targets
Identify and pursue funding opportunities
Funder Cultivation and Relationship Management:
Build relationships with foundations and partners
Lead cultivation efforts including meetings and site visits
Manage full funder lifecycle
Proposal, Grant, and Report Writing:
Lead proposal and grant development
Write compelling narratives
Manage grant reporting
Program Storytelling and External Communications:
Translate program impact into compelling messaging
Ensure quality across external materials
Strategic Partnership and Internal Collaboration:
Partner with program leadership to understand theory of change
Advise on strategy tied to sustainability
