What We Want
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Coordinator II to support our Research Infrastructure and Operations Support Team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage complex calendars, coordinate financial and administrative tasks, and maintain critical research infrastructure databases. They should be adept at multitasking, comfortable working independently, and capable of exercising sound judgment in a dynamic academic and research environment. Experience in customer service, event coordination, and familiarity with university systems is highly preferred.

Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Three years of experience in office administration.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation applications.
Interpersonal and communication skills.
Planning and organization skills.
Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
Ability to positively and professionally interact with clients and staff.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Working knowledge of office software programs.
Ability to orally comprehend and express information and use inductive and deductive reasoning.
Ability to positively and professionally interact with clients and staff, groups of various sizes.
Preferred Qualifications
Calendar Management.
Customer Service experience.
Event management or support experience.
Ability to cultivate and maintain professional working relationships with people of various scientific backgrounds.
Familiarity with academic and research environments.
Responsibilities
1) Financial/Administrative Support
Manages the Associate Vice President’s calendar.
General programmatic support, including but not limited to:
Material orders
Submission of receipts and Laserfiche forms
