About the role

Labcorp is seeking a Supply Chain Operations Analyst, Patient Services.

The Supply Chain Operations Analyst provides National support for field operations team including all front-line positions, Supervisors, Managers, and Directors within the specific functional area. Drives enterprise process through Standard Operating Procedure development, analytics and auditing. Assists in the use of KPIs and other metrics level data reporting to operational areas.

Working Conditions:

The Global Supply Chain team is based in Burlington, NC.

This hybrid position offers a balanced schedule of a minimum of three in-office days at an assigned location of Burlington, NC, supporting both collaboration and flexibility.

Supports all-time zones when needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the development and administration of processes and procedures for the efficient operations of corporate supply chain operations, financial reporting and processing, in accordance with corporate and regulatory guidelines.
  • Proposes, participates, and assists with workflow engineering and standardization activities.
  • Relates professionally with internal and external stakeholders. Composes letters/memorandums.
  • Works with external clients and vendors under the direction of the reporting manager
  • Participates in training, workflow engineering and standardization activities.
  • Provides recommendations for enhancements to technology solutions, business requirements.
  • Assists in the creation of a project plan and keeps a task list as well as meeting minutes to be distributed to the stakeholders.
  • Proactive in uncovering issues while also collecting, analyzing, organizing and presenting data in a way that stakeholders can connect and understand what they are communicating.
  • Assists in the determination of operational gaps as well as assisting in developing potential remediation needed to resolve.
  • Assists in creation and presentation of training material.
  • Ensures work is completed by assigned deadlines.
  • Responsible for gathering front line employees, supervisors/managers, in order to manage components of a project or SOP revision.

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 – 2 Years of direct Supply Chain operations experience
  • Experience interacting with internal or external clients.
  • Experience engaging or working with cross functional teams.
  • Experience with performing analytics and using analytical tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree or higher
  • Knowledge and experience with Phlebotomy
  • 1-2 years of experience interacting with internal or external clients
  • 1-2 years of experience problem solving skills and analytical abilities to assess analytical and/or reporting needs
  • Understanding Labcorp operations, supply chain operations, laboratory systems or contact center systems.
  • Interest in and understanding lab operations
  • Proficiency in Smartsheet (basic)

Skills and Competencies:

  • Experience in Microsoft or appliable office software. Excel, Word, Data Analytics Systems, PowerPoint. Required. Skills are used daily in the production of data and presentations to support Supply Chain projects.
  • Ability to write grammatically correct corporate communications. Skills are used to communicate with stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze data and use it to make recommendations.
  • Ability to pull data from multiple systems to create reporting.
  • Ability to take data and communicate it in a meaningful way to internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and with their team members with limited supervision.
  • Strong organizations skills
  • Ability to communicate with external vendors.
