Strategic Innovation Product Manager Summer Intern

Link’s 12-week paid summer internship program is designed to help students gain valuable experience and develop business skills while learning the basics of commercial and industrial real estate. We offer internships in 15 departments including Capital Markets, Construction, Development, Financial Planning & Analysis, Investments, IT, Leasing, Property Management, Marketing and more.  

Link is looking for actively enrolled graduate student who would be interested in building innovative analytics software products Link and the real estate industry alike. The role will support both production-phase software development and experimental idea generation, collaborating with designers, data scientists, executive stakeholders, and various internal user audiences to prioritize needs and test proofs of concepts.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Reporting to the VP of Innovation, this role will work on relevant innovation projects, with a focus on investment analytics products.  The role’s main responsibilities include:

• Product Development: Assist in defining, scoping, and prioritizing features for analytics tools that support investment decisions.

• User Feedback: Support a rigorous testing and feedback regime with users across Link, especially those on the investment team

• Product Team Collaboration: Work closely with designers, data scientists, internal and external engineers, and technology teams to translate business needs into elegant software.

• Data & Analytics: Support the integration of market, asset, and financial data into analytics platforms, ensuring usability and accuracy.

• Project Management: Help coordinate development timelines, sprints, and product roadmaps using Agile methodologies.

• User Research: Gather feedback from investment teams to refine product features and improve user experience.

• Documentation & Reporting: Create clear product documentation, requirements, and progress reports for internal stakeholders.

• Experimentation and Prototyping: Use a range of software tools to create low fidelity prototypes to bring ideas to life and put them in front of users.

• AI Tool Vetting: Analyze, demo, and vet potential AI tools for analytics, research, workflow automation, and knowledge assistance, such as Hebbia, Glean, Matterfact, Writer, and Alpha-Sense

• Participate in Link Internship Programing: Attend general Link internship programing to connect across the company and learn about the industry.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Currently pursuing a graduate-level degree with a specialization in real estate development or investment
  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
