If yes, then you might just be the person we are looking for!</em><br/> <br/> <strong>Role Background</strong><br/> We’d like to strengthen our team with a Financial Data Manager that would act in the intersection between the realms of financial reporting and data engineering &amp; analytics. As you can imagine, we have a massive number of transactions occurring on a daily basis around the clock and we need to keep tabs so that we capture each and everyone of these properly in our accounting.  </p><p><strong>What you’ll be doing</strong></p><ul><li>You will play a crucial role in ensuring that we capture changes in our business model correctly in our accounting data flows, guiding our Data Engineers and Analysts in defining what needs to get done </li><li>You act as a first point of contact to finance stakeholders to analyze data lineages for accounting entries - you can tell where the data is coming from and our accountants and controllers can tell whether it is the correct number</li><li>We’re on a tight schedule with our monthly closing processes and you will support in your role in continuously improving our speed and quality for the accounting flows</li><li>As part of a US based stock listed company we are subject to control requirements and audits and you will plan and execute such in your area</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>MSc or BSc in Accounting &amp; Finance and a degree or courses in data science or engineering is definitely a nice add on</li><li>You have worked in a financial role and are familiar with accounting and financial reporting processes</li><li>You have great project manager skills and are familiar with working with a long backlog and related prioritization and organizing work</li><li>You are able to build basic dashboards or data tables by extracting data using SQL or similar from data warehouses</li><li>You have worked with some BI tool like Looker (preferably), Tableau or PowerBI</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p>If you are creative, like moving fast, and thrive in a dynamic environment where you get to be proactive and figure out what to do (rather than wait to be told) – then apply today.<br/> <br/> <strong>What you’ll get by joining us</strong></p><ul><li>Opportunity to be part of building something exceptional, in an international environment</li><li>Lots of learning and growth in a globally scaling tech company</li><li>Competitive salary + stock options available</li></ul><p>If you have any further questions about the position, you can turn to:<br/> Chene Elliot, Talent Acquisition P
