Certified CS Tech - Surgical Center (1.0 FTE, Days)

Wage Range: $25.64 - $41.00 per hour

Posted wage ranges represent the entire range from minimum to maximum. For jobs with more than one level, the posted range reflects the minimum of the lowest level and the maximum of the highest level. Some positions also offer additional premiums based on shift, certifications or degrees. Job offers are determined based on a candidate's years of relevant experience, level of education and internal equity.

Job Summary

A member of the ESC staff who works with the surgical team by the processing of instruments and equipment for use in the operating room and maintaining stock control of certain supplies.

Primary Duties:

1. Processes supplies through cleaning, packaging, sterilizing and storing procedures.
2. Washes and sterilizes instruments after each case and prepares for next surgery.
3. Operates autoclaves, ultrasonic cleaner and other equipment for processing supplies.
4. Performs other duties as assigned.

License, Certification, Education or Experience

REQUIRED for the position:

• High School graduate or equivalent
• 1 year of experience in Sterile Processing
• Certification through IAHCSMM or CBSPD

DESIRED for the position:

• Technical courses in Sterile Processing
