Job Summary

This position is accountable for providing business development support for HCSC National Account sales opportunities as well as managing a staff of employees. Responsibilities include collaboration with sales to develop sales strategies, oversight of sales support team as they navigate the end-to-end sales process and drive towards team best practices. Candidate will cultivate relationships with internal matrix partners, build an understanding of the external market, and be an advocate for the needs of our customers. This role will identify and execute opportunities for process optimization that increases organizational effectiveness and drives collaboration across the enterprise. Position is a management role with the several direct reports working across the sales organization on strategic or complex account opportunities.

This is a Hybrid/Flex position, working in the office three days per week and remotely two days per week.

Required Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of experience in healthcare, benefits, or project management OR 7 years of experience
• 3 years of people management or supervisory experience
• Verbal and written communications skills to direct and lead teams, work across organization, represent Sales and present to management.
• Project management, implementation, and process optimization experience
• Experience developing communications, tools, trainings, processes or strategies.
• Knowledge of group health insurance products, industry, regulations and trends
• Knowledge of sales, tools and techniques
• Results oriented.

Preferred Job Qualifications:

• Experience in sales support, sales or account management
• Understanding of pre-sales & sales process including key metrics and drivers to produce sales and retention outcomes.
• Experience with salesforce.com or similar CRM tools
• Experience working with senior leadership.
• Act with integrity and maintain a respectful, professional manner in all interactions with co-workers, management, customers and other business contacts.
• Comply with HIPAA, the Code of Business Ethics & Conduct, our Diversity & Inclusion Principles, and other applicable corporate and departmental policies.
• Maintain complete confidentiality in all matters of company business.
• Maintain communication with management regarding developments within areas of assigned responsibilities, and perform special projects as required or requested.
• Responsible for personnel matters, compliance with employment laws and EEO-Affirmative Action Policy, and accomplishing fair employment goals in each area supervised.

Base Pay Range

$97,600.00 - $176,300.00
