Job Description
The Global Marketing lead - Readers is responsible to execute the Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) reader portion of our identification and monitoring tech strategies. This role partners closely with marketing, sales, R&D and technical teams to coordinate the successful execution and deployment of products, services and brands in the Livestock and Companion space; it is also responsible for sales forecast, pricing, launch support, etc.
Our Animal Health Marketing team takes a customer centric perspective using customer feedback and market intelligence data. Using this data, we design, develop and deploy products, platforms, brands and marketing initiatives that ensure we can improve the health and well-being of animals everywhere.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute reader strategy in alignment with our livestock and companion technology portfolio strategy and roadmap
Supports the growth of our livestock, companion identification and monitoring solutions in coordination with commercial and regional operations
Interact with Regional Vice Presidents, country managers and business unit leads to successfully deploy solutions
Works closely with the global marketing Data Lead to leverage data gathered by readers to enable cohesive valuable solutions to customers and industry stakeholders
Leads the development of marketing plans for products including price, customer experience, sales collateral, and forecasting for the livestock and companion reading solutions
Supports the successful transition of new products and solutions from R&D to Manufacturing and sales
Supports the introduction of new products in collaboration with commercial operations teams
Works closely with commercial operations to understand market trends and leads the solution of in-market needs
Supports in coordination with finance, procurement and manufacturing, budgets, forecasts and 5/10-year plans for the livestock technology business
Tracks sales performance in coordination with commercial operations and finance
Supports the identification, strategy and execution of integrated pharma-tech solutions
Education:
Bachelor's degree in relevant area of study
Required Experience and Skills
5 years’ work experience in RFID technology
Strong leader of multidisciplinary teams with direct and indirect authority
Strong communication and presentation skills
Commercial experience in the pharmaceutical and or Ag tech business
Experience developing marketing strategies in pharmaceutical and or ag tech business
Project management experience
Self-start with a clear sense of prioritization and prioritizing activities for a project
Effective networking across different functions within an organization
Role will involve up to 50% travel (some travel will be global)
Preferred:
8 years of experience in the livestock and companion industry
Residents of Colorado
