Overview
The Program Administrator supports the development and growth of non‑credit workforce training programs in business, career, and technology fields. Working under the direction of the Director, this role manages the administration, execution, and day‑to‑day operations of assigned programs to ensure effective delivery, compliance, and program quality. The position focuses on coordinating course delivery, supporting employer engagement, monitoring program performance, and providing input to leadership to support continuous improvement. The ideal candidate brings experience in workforce program administration and student services, with strong coordination and operational skills. This role supports Brookdale’s workforce mission by helping deliver high‑quality programs that lead to industry‑recognized credentials, employment, and career advancement.
Responsibilities
Program Development Administration
- Assist with identifying emerging workforce trends and analyzing labor market data; provide input and recommendations to the Director to support the development and refinement of training programs in areas such as business operations, IT, digital skills, project management, and emerging technologies. Assist with the development and implementation of workforce training programs in collaboration with the Director, while leading and managing the day‑to‑day operations, delivery, and evaluation of assigned programs.
- Oversee daily program execution, including course coordination, instructor support, student services, and performance monitoring, and evaluate outcomes to support continuous improvement. Integrate hybrid, accelerated, and alternative delivery models to meet the needs of adult learners and employers.
- Provide oversight and support to part-time instructional staff and subject matter experts to ensure high-quality teaching and learning experience under the direction of the Director.
- Manage purchasing and logistics, including materials, supplies, and vendor coordination.
Budget and Revenue Monitoring
- Monitor program budgets and expenditures and provide budget status updates to Director. Assist with pricing analysis and provide recommendations based on market data and program costs. Monitor and evaluate program performance using enrollment, revenue, student outcomes, and satisfaction data; prepare reports and provide recommendations to support program adjustments and continuous improvement.
Compliance & Credential Alignment
- Ensure programs meet requirements of state licensing bodies, industry credentialing agencies, and accreditation standards (where applicable).
- Manage reporting, documentation, and data collection for:
- Student outcomes (completion, employment, certification pass rates)
- Program evaluation and continuous improvement
- Maintain compliance for programs such as real estate, construction code, and other regulated training areas.
Marketing, Recruitment & Outreach
- Partner with marketing teams to develop and execute multi-channel recruitment strategies (digital, events, employer outreach).
- Conduct information sessions, job fairs, and community outreach to drive enrollment.
- Communicate program details, pathways, and outcomes to prospective students and employers.
Technology and Instructional Resources
- Oversee specialized program resources including computer labs, simulation tools, and instructional technology platforms.
- Ensure training environments reflect current industry standards and practices.
- Assist with evaluation and adoption of new technologies to enhance program delivery and student learning.
Industry Engagement & Partnership Development
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with employers, industry associations, and the Monmouth County Workforce Development Board to ensure program relevance and placement opportunities.
- Collaborate with employer partners to co-design training, customized solutions, and talent pipelines.
- Represent CPS in external meetings, presentations, and community forums as a subject matter advocate for workforce training programs. 5% Pathways & Workforce Initiatives Support development of non-credit to credit pathways and prior learning assessment opportunities.
- Assist with grant-related activities and workforce initiatives, as assigned. Collaborate across college departments to support alignment of programs with institutional priorities and workforce strategies.
