Senior Commerce Content Project Manager

Summary
Yahoo is seeking an enthusiastic Content Operations Project Manager. They will work closely with editorial, programming, product, SEO, growth and data teams with the joint goal of creating world class commerce content and growing its audience.
The Content Operations Project Manager will focus on timely event based content opportunities such as deals, sale holidays (think Amazon Prime Day and Black Friday/Cyber Monday) as well as how to watch live events.
In this role they will develop strategies and playbooks to grow our audience and then drive their execution.
Responsibilities
Develop and drive execution of strategies and playbooks for timely commerce events content such as Amazon Prime Day and Black Friday/Cyber Monday. This includes:
Developing an understanding of user motivation / behavior, then use it to come up with growth ideas
Creating actionable plans working with editorial, product, programming, growth and data teams
Driving execution of the above plans through project management, data and influence
Leading multi disciplinary progress meetings
Monitoring performance dashboards, reviewing data and providing actionable insights
Documenting processes, leading brain storming and post-mortem sessions
Requirements
Bachelor's degree
2 - 5 yrs working with a media publisher or online publication supporting editorial production; this includes creating content plans, understanding the full content lifecycle, and experience with CMS
2 - 5 yrs experience with commerce content
2 - 5 yrs involved with commerce shopping events such as Black Friday / Amazon Prime Day
2 - 5 yrs project management or similar experience
Experience with SEO content tools (GA, GSC, Semrush, Ahrefs, etc.), content management systems (WordPress, etc.), management tools (Airtable (great), Asana, etc.) and data handling tools (Looker, Tableau, SQL, etc.)
Takes ownership of projects and tasks
Ability to manage multiple projects and teams as well as communicate effectively across teams
Demonstrated attention to detail to ensure reporting is correct and presentations convey the necessary points with accuracy
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement, driving continuous enhancement of processes and content
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Mindset that blends data-based research with creativity
