Underwriting Services Supervisor

MIS, a ReSource Pro company, is looking for an Underwriting Services Supervisor to lead a high performing team of support professionals responsible for day to processing of Workers Compensation and commercial P&C policies, binders, endorsements, cancellations and reinstatements, and final audit transactions.

This role is based at the MIS office in Maitland, FL with the option for hybrid remote work arrangements after training period.

After 3 months you will... 

• Monitor team’s KPIS and manages day-to-day workflows and schedules to meet and exceed service agreements. Troubleshoots issues, answers questions, and handles escalated/complex client requests.
• Mentor, coach and support the learning of team members.
• Initiate and lead integration of new work/tasks/functions including new client implementations and process and procedure improvements. Ensures processes and procedures are documented and maintained post implementation.
• Be responsible for overseeing team’s assigned clients and ensuring client satisfaction.

What you need to be successful...

• 5-7 years' experience in commercial P&C insurance (claims, underwriting, technology, or related background)
• Strong ability to navigate ambiguity, research and select alternative courses of action.
• Customer-centric, enjoys providing a service and solving customer problems.
• Technologically proficient – able to learn, utilize, and navigate a variety of external and internal systems.
• Excited about mentoring a team and building a collaborative environment.

Your Compensation…

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of the total compensation package that also includes annual bonus eligibility, benefits, and other opportunities at ReSource Pro. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, geography, and balancing internal equity relative to other ReSource Pro employees. This is a hybrid position out of our office in Maitland, Florida. The salary range for this location and role is $41,715 - $65,000. The salary range could be lower or higher based on the specific geographic location in which the candidate resides.
